The Oversight Committee admits only “A” rated insurance companies to the program after careful scrutiny of their qualifications. Insurance carriers accept, adopt and agree to be bound by the terms of the Negotiated Workers’ Compensation Insurance Agreement in order to participate in the NWCIP. Every attempt is made to provide access to employers of all sizes across the spectrum of construction trades. The Labor/Management Oversight Committee meets quarterly with its insurance partners to review activities and mutually agree upon ways to better serve the Florida collectively bargained world.
